• Flash “Next” - New features for Flash IDE (Flash 10, “Diesel“). In the demo, it demonstrated how to animate a object in just a few clicks, such as resize objects, without mess around with the keyframes.
• Flash on C/C++ - There will be a toolkit which allow building flash/AIR(Adobe Integrated Runtime) files using C/C++. The basic concept is from C/C++ -> AS3(ActionScript3) -> SWF -> Flash/AIR. In the demo, it was insanely surprise due to “Quake” was running as SWF file.
• Flex Applications on Linux- Now Flex support in Linux, that means Linux users can create RIA (Rich Internet Application).
• Seam Carving - It is an image resizing algorithm developed by Shai Avidan and Ariel Shamir. It allows to be resized without affected the original content of the image, such as the image will not look weird or funny when it is stretched. Apart of that, it also has few cool features, such as erase objects from the image without affecting the the background or messing the overall image. “Just adding 20 lines of codes” - Quoted RIA demo of the application.
• Photoshop Express - It is a web-based application as well, AKA RIA. In the demo, it demonstrated how to crop, adjust colours, remove scars or dirt, and etc within just a few clicks. The application is very easy to use and powerful. It is targeting especially for teenagers or bloggers.
• Flash Home for Mobile - It is a flash OS for mobile phone. In the demo, it demonstrated how it allows to customize the flash OS depending on the users, how it works with RSS, and etc. It is a cool futuristic mobile OS which allows users to fully customize own taste.
• PDF Packaging - New PDF will allow to pack not just images, but video and flash contents as well. In addition, it can also create a similar layout of your website, as a demo for your client on how your website is going to look like.
