LED Macbook?
Based on latest MacRumors, it is said to have LED backlit Macbook coming soon, probably during the Macworld Expo 2008 on middle of January 2008. LED backlit will be 50% lighter and save more battery life as well. It is rumored that it will be in aluminum casing like his bro, macbook pro and slimmer than before.
The sources disclosed that Nano-Op’s LED notebook BLU [backlight units] shipments in November were only about 10,000 units, but Apple orders are expected drive up shipments to over 90,000 units in December.
Personally, I have seen the new 15″ macbook pro during the time that I installing “upgrade” Leopard and some softwares for the customer. The new 15″ is using LED backlit. The downside is the upper top corners of the screen have the “extra” bright light. It pretty annoys me if I was the user. If you are smart, you should know the answer. Those two “extra” bright light is the LED. I’m not so sure how Apple “dare” to build it that way or originally it is made to be like this way and hopefully it fix it :roll:
