Photoshop Express
Based on Sneak-Peak-at-Adobe-Max, Photoshop Express is really impressive. Sadly it is just ”great”, not thaaaat “greeeat”. Just yesterday ago, Adobe just release the public beta of Photoshop Express.
Photoshop Express - It is a web-based application as well, AKA RIA. It is targeting especially for teenagers or bloggers.
It is free to register as a member and 2GB space will be provided for images storage. The website is fully secure like any online transaction site. It is integrated with facebook, photobucket and picasa network, so that user can use the existing images from those website without uploading them again in Photoshop Express. Before using it, it requires flash version 9 in order to work.
The current beta is still not really great. It only has a couple of tools, simple tools. The tools are categoried into 3 groups, which are basic, tuning and effects. It doesn’t have the selection tool and also text tool. Those two tools are extremely important in editing photo. I have just upload a picture of myself and ‘testdrive’ this online application.
The performance is quite great. It doesn’t take a long period to load. Neat online application. I’m hoping that the finalize version would have some advance tools. If not, I feel that it doesn’t deserve the subclass of ‘PHOTOSHOP‘
