Cats Exhibition @ tHe Spring
Yesterday I had just been to this Cats Exhibition @ tHe Spring, Kuching. This event started from 6th Sept until 7th Sept, which is today, from roughly 11am until 8pm according to the schedule. It will be on the ‘North Court‘ @ tHe Spring.
It is rather a short event, but it is quite interesting. There are ton of different type of cats, such as exotic type and also wildcats, such as Persian. They are all kept inside a small little cage, what a pity. Ton of people taking pictures of the cute exotic cats. Not only that, you are allowed to carry those cats with a price (of course).
The activity not just for ‘showing off‘ those cats to the public but to bring public awareness that caring for the animals, not only for cats alone. There are some group of people giving some speech regarding how to care cats and etc. Sadly I only manage to take one shot of the wildcat. The wildcats are usually huge, can be said similar size like baby tiger (cub). This wildcat is called, Maine Coon, not Moon Maine. [Thanks to the commentor, HORATIO for the correcting the name]
Speaking about moon, moon cake festival or formally, ‘Mid-Autumn Festival‘ is just around the corner. There are few stall sell moon cake @ tHe Spring, on the center of it. By the way, they selling durian favor as well, the smell is darn strong.

Hi there. Thank you for coming to see the cat show at The Spring. I am the cat judge for this show and I came across your blog at PPS. The cats were kept in the cage are for them to rest n also for the members of the public to see these beautiful cats. They don’t need bigger space since they don’t move around much n sleep most at most of the time.
I hope you learn something from my judging n presentation yesterday. The breed that u saw is actually called Maine Coon, one of the largest cat breed.

Wow… I went to the cat show as well… =D
But too bad, I didnt see much of them because the main purpose I went to tHe Spring was to buy my brother’s short pant in Parkson… Lol…
