This entry will give you an overview of how to install RAM for Apple Macbook on your own. It is very simple and easy process. The main tool needed is 1.4mm screwdriver. Usually that screwdriver is sold in one set of screwdriver (6 pieces at least). Besides that, one thin ruler or a coin is needed as well. Now you’re ready to DIY.

Before process, please be reminded that Apple computer machines are extremely sensitive of the kinds of RAM being used. In this entry or my case, I used Corsair Brand. I have done quite a number of researches in this field. Most comfortable brands would be Corsair and Kingston. Besides that, make sure that the clock speed/frequency is the same as your original RAM of your Apple computer machines.

Apple has announced the dates for the Worldwide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) 2008. The event will take place on June 9-13, 2008 in San Francisco, CA at Moscone West. This will discuss more about the final iPhone SDK and as well as Mac OSX or probably the next OS. I highly doubt that will happen.

iPhone SDK can be downloaded with free AppleID. Sadly but true, it is only available for Mac OSX (Leopard). The file size is 2.1GB because it included Xcode as well.

Yesterday ago, I just bought 1GB iPod Shuffle for myself at Switch (tHe Spring). 1GB? Yea.. probably no choice. 2Gb has to wait another 2 more weeks or so. Even in the US, 2GB Shuffle has not arrive yet at Apple Store. I choose a ‘purple‘ colour and cost me RM189.

Sadly but true. Another weird thing about Switch is the staff. Technically, I asked about Macbook Air, and it has not arrive here, Kuching. That’s not really the main issue here. That staff (I think she’s from Swinburne according to my friend), told me that Macbook Air has not arrive at Malaysia. Malaysia? Even in KL also don’t have?  :?: Wrong info, girl. Even Switch website had mention that first customer to get that Macbook Air in Penang.

Surprisely, this Tues (USA timezone), Apple just announce the new Macbook and Macbook Pro. Sadly, both of the design still remain the same.

What’s new?

Macbook:

 It gets 3 new things, Penryn Processor (2.1GHz/2.4GHz), larger RAM(1GB/2GB) and larger HDD(120GB, 160GB, 250GB).

 Macbook Pro:

 It gets 3 new things as well. Penryn Processor (2.4GHz/2.5GHz/2.6GHz), larger HDD(200GB/250GB) and multi-touch trackpad like Macbook Air. One more thing, 17″incorporates LED backlit as well.

Actually I feel abit sad due to my old Macbby. At least Macbook doesn’t have multi-touch trackpad.  :mrgreen: One sad thing, Apple now doesn’t ship with Apple Remote for Macbook lines.
